Toll free experience: GetVmail?
February 24th, 2008Having tried Less.net and been dropped by them, I was on the prowl for another toll free number service.
I launched an inquiry on Webmasterworld.com Some person suggested GetVmail
Since I was in Toll Free limbo, I decided to join. Besides, it was highly recommended by two members. Read the rest of this entry »
Toll free experience: Less.net
February 24th, 2008I have tried Less.net for ahem less than 1 day. At first, it looked like a promising service with not many features ( not many were needed) Price was right and only $0.05 / minute. This included no voicemail, no nothing, just a toll free number and toll free rerouted to a phone number.
The toll free number was Relatively easy to set up and was up and receiving toll free calls in less than 1 hour. GREAT! Read the rest of this entry »
Mastercraft Maximum Spin saw Review
February 20th, 2008I purchased a Canadian Tire Mastercraft Maximum spin saw or AC rotary tool.
Out of the box: A very nice and seemingly well built rotary tool. When it powers up it has a bit of a kick to it and looks well built.

My experience with Vonage Canada - Skype
February 1st, 2008I have tried Vonage in Canada for 30 days.
Registration: Very easy and intuitive to do on the web site. 5 minutes and I was calling people.
Call quality: Call quality can be changed to 3 levels 90 kbps 50 kbps and 36 kbps. I used all 3 levels but left it on the lowest since the clarity was good and it didn’t hog too much bandwidth. It me a good, I even venture to say indistinguishable call quality from a landline. Read the rest of this entry »

Dors bien. Dors en paix.
Fernand Pelletier est décedé Samedi 15 septembre 2007
My brother died
September 16th, 2007Yesterday, my brother took his life.
In most families it would a time for deep sorrow and grief.
Not for my mom, she is angry. My dad, preocupied. Me, well sort of relieved but also a bit sad.
You see, my brother was manic depressive. Every single day was a new mood. Sure he took meds - well we think he took his meds but this mental illness robs people of their mood.
He would get angry for no apparent reason.
He would be the life of a party.
He would be deeply depressed and lock himself in his house.
My brother was troubled by his own deamons and nothing my Mom, Dad or anyone else could do would appease his trouble.
You have chosen this day to rest brother.
<>Rest in peace…. Fernand Pelletier died September 15 2007
